In the industrial landscape of the Qianwan area in Hongqiao International Central Business District, the SupeZET (Shanghai) Innovation Base—with a total floor area of approximately 100,000 square meters—has successfully completed main structure construction and fully entered the interior decoration and core facility installation & commissioning phase. As a key industrial project promoted by South Hongqiao, the base is scheduled to be put into use in early 2026. It will not only serve as the strategic core for SupeZET’s cutting-edge technology R&D layout, but also inject new impetus of green intelligent manufacturing into Hongqiao Qianwan’s efforts to build a Yangtze River Delta headquarters cluster and a national demonstration zone for industry-city integration.
Evolving from a core supplier in petrochemical equipment to a leader in integrated plants and low-carbon energy solutions, SupeZET has always taken technological innovation as the foundation of development. The company’s decision to settle in the Hongqiao Qianwan area in June 2024 was driven by the region’s exceptional location and transportation advantages, abundant talent resources, and sound industrial policy support. The project is positioned as an innovation base integrating four major functions:
?Headquarters Office Center: Serving as the group headquarters of SupeZET, it will shape a future layout centered in Shanghai and radiating to manufacturing bases across the Yangtze River Delta.
?Innovation R&D Center: Focusing on cutting-edge R&D in refining & chemicals, new materials, new energy and other fields.
?Science Promotion Center: Carrying out technology promotion and science education for the industry and society.
?Industrial Incubation Center: Cultivating innovative enterprises and projects in the green equipment manufacturing sector.
Supported by functional modules such as an energy equipment laboratory and a digital engineering service exhibition center, the base will form a comprehensive innovation platform covering new process R&D, new material R&D, new energy technology R&D, and an analysis & testing center. Leveraging the complete supporting facilities and industrial chain potential of the Hongqiao Qianwan area, the company will realize resource complementarity and coordinated development with the region in terms of technology, equipment, human resources and public facilities.
Industrial Collaboration System
Relying on the rich industrial resources and talent advantages of Minhang District, SupeZET will actively carry out R&D cooperation with well-known domestic and international petrochemical enterprises, universities and research institutions. The company plans to set up joint research teams with universities including East China University of Science and Technology, conducting full-chain research on material innovation, catalyst development and process package integration to deepen the integration of industry, university and research resources in South Hongqiao.

At present, the construction of SupeZET (Shanghai) Innovation Base is progressing steadily.
